What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is talk-based, but involves much more than just that.
Together in session we will talk about the various challenges you’re facing, and identify the direction you want to take (or we’ll figure that out if you are unsure!).
I’d like you to leave with something; whether it be another perspective, information, coping strategies, a new behaviour to introduce, or something new to try. I believe that the work happens just as much outside of the session as it does during our appointment.
Ultimately, I’d like to help you create change in a meaningful direction, so you can build a life that feels good to you.
Hi, I’m Jackie.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I’d like psychotherapy to work for you, wherever you are.
My practice is based on the biopsychosocial model which considers biological, psychological, and social factors and their complex interactions in understanding health, illness, and health care delivery.
